Hometown is an Indian furniture and home retailer with showrooms across the country. Most people still want to see a sofa or a bed before they buy it, so the site has two homepages: one that leads you to a store and one for shopping online. I designed both, plus a landing page for Hometown's modular kitchens. Later, I audited the live site, and the 29 findings across 11 screens became the case for the redesign that's now planned.

A dark, warm homepage that lets the furniture glow and leads to the showroom: shop by category, seasonal edits, brands, a designer on site and the stores nearby. Scroll through the full desktop and mobile homepage.

A lighter homepage for buying online, built around rooms and new arrivals, with no-cost EMI and a welcome offer for first-time buyers.

A landing page that turns a big decision into small steps: book a free consultation, pick a layout and a style, compare packages and estimate the cost.

Layouts for every space, styles to browse, three clear packages next to a cost calculator, and the process from consultation to handover.

Both homepages and the kitchen page on the phone.
